PASTORAL COUNCIL NOMINATIONS: Parishioners will have the opportunity over the next two weekends to nominate individuals or themselves as a candidate to fill one of three positions on the Pastoral Council. Prayerfully consider who would lead our parish at this time and then write the name or names (there is no limit) on a slip of paper and place in the collection basket at any time, by Sunday, April 19th. Members of the Finance Council are unable to serve on both councils, therefore do not nominate Charles Beseda, Gordon Grubbs, Annette Ballew, or Lucy Pustejovsky. There are three members who have finished their terms on the Pastoral Council that are not eligible to serve for one year. They include Katie Kaska, Cheryl Schulz, and Frank Urbanovsky. Finally, please do not nominate any current members of the Pastoral Council members: Joyce Lenart, Johnny Krenek, Mike Bezdek, Karen Marak, Gary Pustejovsky, or David Timmons.
MOTHER’S DAY FLOWERS: Donations are now being accepted for Mother’s Day flowers. To honor or remember a special lady in your life, put your intentions, along with your donation in an envelope marked “Mother’s Day Flowers” and drop in the collection basket by April 26th.
KJZT JUNIORS: The next meeting of the KJZT Juniors will be Sunday morning, April 19 in the Smid Center. The meeting will be begin around 9:20 (immediately after the baked goods and raffle ticket sale). Juniors need to wear a camp t-shirt (any color) and jeans.
FUNDRAISER: The KJZT Junior Division will be selling baked goods and raffle tickets after the weekend masses on April 18 & 19. The juniors will be attending Camp Guardian Angel in June, and 100% of sale proceeds go toward their camp fees. Raffle tickets are $1 each or 6 tickets for $5. The raffle drawing will be held during camp and the top prize is a $500 Visa gift card. You can contact a junior member anytime between now and the end of June to purchase raffle tickets. The juniors appreciate your generous support!
FUNDRAISER: On Sunday, April 19th, the History of West Museum is having a fried chicken and sausage dinner with all the trimmings, auction, and raffle at the West Knights of Columbus Hall. Serving starts at 11AM with drive through line available. Plates are $10. Funds will be used for completion of gallery exhibits and daily operating costs. The museum is scheduled to open to the public in May.

KJT FAMILY DAY: KJT District V will have a Family Day Sunday, April 19 at the Dulock/Snapka farm. Location is Tokio, 1092 Tokio Loop off the “Old Railroad Road”. Festivities begin at noon and will end at 3 PM, (Fishing, horseshoes, washers and crafts). Food will be provided. Please bring fishing gear and lawn chairs.
