RICE BOWL: Rice Bowl donations will be turned in next weekend. Please place them in the basket located on the back table. We encounter Jesus this week in Jerusalem, a community he knew well.  We prayerfully enter into our own communities too, encountering those who are hungry and thirsty, and others who need our help. How does our Lenten journey motivate us to serve those we meet in our daily lives?

STATIONS OF THE CROSS: Our parish will have Stations of the Cross at 3:00 p.m., on Good Friday.

RCIA: RCIA Class will not meet on Sunday, April 9th because of Palm Sunday.

ADULT FORMATION: The Adult Formation Class will meet on Wednesday, April 12th from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. in the parish hall. The topics include: Catholic Social Teaching: Building A Civilization of Love & Protecting the Dignity of the Human Person. This class concludes the adult formation classes from the Symbolon series. Future classes are being planned.

CHOIR PRACTICE: There will be Choir practice on Monday, April 10th at 6:30 p.m.  Everyone is welcome to attend.

BAR-B-Q DINNER/RAFFLE: Our annual Bar-B-Q dinner is quickly approaching. The dinner and raffle will be held on Sunday, May 7th.  At this time, we will collect raffle items or cash to go towards the purchase of an item. To donate, please contact Agnes Timmons at 254-580-8125. So that tickets can be printed, please contact by April 16th.  Donations will be greatly appreciated.

PASTORAL COUNCIL NOMINATIONS: Parishioners will have the opportunity over the next two weekends to nominate individuals or themselves as a candidate to fill one of three positions on the Pastoral Council. Prayerfully consider who would lead our parish at this time and then write the name or names (there is no limit) on a slip of paper and place in the collection basket by Sunday, April 23rd. Members of the Finance Council are unable to serve on both councils, therefore do not nominate Charles Beseda, Annette Ballew, or Lucy Pustejovsky. There are three members who have finished their terms on the Pastoral Council that are not eligible to serve for one year. They include Karen Marak, Gary Pustejovsky, and Louise Sullins.  Finally, please do not nominate any current members of the Pastoral Council members:  Molly Gerik, Andy Pustejovsky, Ben Pustejovsky, Ernie Pustejovsky, Kathy Pustejovsky, and Patrick Timmons.
