SPECIAL COLLECTION: Next week, our parish will take up the Catholic Relief Services Collection. The funds from this collection help provide food to the hungry, support to displaced refugees, and Christ’s love and respect to all people. Please give generously to the Catholic Relief Services Collection and help Jesus in disguise.
THANK YOU: The KJZT juniors recently donated a TV, two DVD players and two AV carts to the parish CCD program. The donated items were purchased with People Helping People matching funds from the state office. The juniors earned this money last fall when they helped host the fish dinner.
KJZT JUNIORS: The next meeting of the KJZT Juniors will be Friday evening, March 4. Juniors will lead Stations of the Cross and then meet in the Smid Center. Wear royal blue t-shirts and jeans.
RICE BOWL: The next stop on our CRS Rice Bowl journey is the African nation of Rwanda, where we’re reminded to care for the unborn. This week we pray for pregnant mothers, that they may have the medical and nutritional support they need to raise healthy, thriving children.
STATIONS OF THE CROSS: Our parish will have Stations of the Cross at 6:30 p.m., on Fridays during Lent. In the past, they have been led by parish organizations or CCD classes. If any group wishes to lead the stations on one of the evenings, please contact Agnes Timmons. The only date available is March 18th.
EASTER FLOWERS: Parishioners will have an opportunity to pre-order Easter lilies during the next two weekends, March 5th – 6th & March 12th – 13th. Envelopes will be provided for you to write your intentions and enclose the payment for the number of plants that you intend to purchase. They are located at the entrances of the church. The cost of each plant is $8.35 and can be paid for with either cash or by check. Please make the check payable to Wolfe Wholesale Florist. Your completed envelope can be placed in the collection basket. Orders are being taken for plants that will be for church use only. There will be no extra plants ordered, so please take advantage of placing your order over these two weekends. If you have any questions, please call Agnes Timmons, 580-8125.
KC MEETING: The Knights of Columbus will have their quarterly meeting this Wednesday, March 2nd in the Mother’s Room immediately after the 6:00 p.m. Mass.
