HOLY LAND COLLECTION: Through the Good Friday Collection, you join with Catholics around the world to stand in solidarity with the Church in the Holy Land. When you contribute to the Pontifical Good Friday Collection, you become an instrument of peace in a troubled land. As there is no Good Friday Service, please place your envelope in the collection basket of the next Mass you attend.

ADORATION: There will be Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament beginning immediately after the procession of the Blessed Sacrament at the end of Holy Thursday Mass continuing until 12:00 midnight. Volunteers are askeded to sign up on the back bulletin board.
PRACTICE: There will be a practice for those individuals involved with Holy Week Services on Holy Thursday and Holy Saturday. Those involved with Holy Thursday Services will meet on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. Those involved with Holy Saturday Services will meet on Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m.
PLEASE NOTE: For the Easter Vigil Mass on Saturday, no one will be allowed in the church until the procession with the Paschal Candle beginning at the front steps of the church.
FASTING & ABSTINENCE: Good Friday is a day of fast and abstinence. Catholics who are 18 year old and up, until their 59th birthday (when you begin your 60th year), are bound to fast (1 full meal and 2 “snacks” that don’t add up to a full meal). Also, Catholics who are 14 years old and older are to abstain from eating meat.
KJZT JUNIORS: The KJZT Juniors will lead Stations of the Cross on Good Friday, March 25 at 7 pm. After Stations, the juniors will lead the rosary. Juniors need to wear their turquoise t-shirts and meet in the back of church at 6:45 pm.
CONGRATULATIONS: Congratulations to Brock and Trena Pustejovsky on receiving the sacrament of First Holy Communion this past week! May the Holy Spirit continue to work through you in growing and in sharing your Catholic faith, and may you continue to feel the “wholeness” that you feel in receiving Jesus at every Mass.
CHOIR PRACTICE: There will be Choir practice after Mass on Monday, March 21st. Anyone is welcome to attend. We are always looking for new singers.

KJZT DISTRICT NEWS: The Ennis KJZT Society will host the district KJZT meeting on Sunday, April 3, at the KJT Auditorium Dining Room, 1216 S. Paris Street, Ennis Texas. Registration will begin at 11:00 AM with lunch at noon and a meeting to follow at 1:00 PM. If you would like to attend please let our local society know by calling Jeanette Urbanovsky (694-3932) or Kathy Pustejovsky (582-3024) by Tuesday, March 22. The local Junior Society will attend and their count for attending will be given to Molly Gerik.
FUNDRAISER: The History of West Museum will hold its 4th Annual Spring Fundraiser at the West Knights of Columbus Hall on Sunday, April 10. Serving of fried chicken, sausage, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, slaw, dessert and tea will begin at 11:00 a.m. Cost is $10; eat-in and to-go plates will be available. A live auction will begin at noon; there will also be a silent auction and raffle.
MINISTER SCHEDULES: New minister schedules for Altar Servers, Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, and Ushers are ready to be picked up. In an effort to save postage, please get yours from the back table.
RICE BOWL: Rice Bowls will be turned on Easter Sunday. We follow Jesus this week on our Lenten journey as he enters Jerusalem, a community he knew well. CRS Rice Bowl ask us to prayerfully enter into our own communities, to find those who are hungry and thirsty, those who need our help. How does our Lenten journey motivate us to serve those we encounter in our daily lives?
