SECOND COLLECTION: Our parish will take up a second collection this weekend for the Catholic Communication Campaign (CCC). This Collection communicates the Gospel through Catholic social media activities and enriches our faith through Internet, television, radio, and print media. Half of all proceeds remain in our diocese and support local needs. Please be generous.
THANK YOU: Thank you for your generosity towards the second collection which benefits the Sisters of St. Francis’ missions. It will help them continue their work in many ways.
THANK YOU: The Knights of Columbus appreciate your support of their pancake breakfast last Sunday. Gabriel Project will greatly benefit from your generosity.
NEXT SUNDAY: Our BBQ Brisket & Sausage Dinner with raffle will be held on Sunday, May 24th. The meal includes brisket, sausage, parsley potatoes, cole slaw, pinto beans, dessert, and tea. Parishioners whose last name begins with N – Z are asked to please furnish a dessert for the meal. Adult plates and Plates to go are $8.00 and children plates under 12 are $6.00. Raffle tickets are available at the entrances of the church, please take several books. Prices are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00.
MUSICIANS NEEDED: Our church is in need of individuals who can play musical instruments, organ, guitar, etc. for our Masses. Anyone who can help out is asked to please call Karen Bartosh at 254-709-0382. Also, anyone who would like to join the choir, even if it is only occasionally, is welcome to sing with the group.

PASTA FUNDRAISER: Our Lady of Mercy in Hillsboro will be hosting a Pasta Fundraiser today, May 17th from 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Cost of the meal is $6.00 for adults and $4.00 for children. Please go and support our sister parish.

GRIEF SUPPORT: A grief support group meeting will be held 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening, May 21st at St. Joseph’s Hall next to St. Mary’s Catholic Church. This is a support group for those in the community who want to gain a better understanding of all the changes experienced in the grief process.
