THANK YOU: Thank you for your generosity towards the collection for the Catholic Campaign for Human Development. Your support will help to defend human dignity and build communities of solidarity.

THANK YOU: Thank you from the Abbott KJZT #104 (Adult and Junior Division). They were able to present Hillsboro Interfaith Ministries a donation of $1110.00 for their Food for Families Drive on Friday, November 20th. Breakdown of this contribution: $610.00 parishioner donations, $100.00 from the KJZT #104, and $400.00 from the State KJZT Office.  May you all have a blessed Thanksgiving.  Your generosity and concern are greatly appreciated.  Please understand that Hillsboro Interfaith Ministries is open for anyone in this area in need of food throughout the year.  Hillsboro Interfaith Ministries is located in downtown Hillsboro (214 E. Elm Street) on Tuesday and Thursday, 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., and on Friday 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Their phone number to call during these hours is 254-580-2717 if more information is needed. CHRISTMAS CHOIR PRACTICE: There will be Adult Choir practice after Mass on Wednesday, December 2nd & 9th. The children’s choir will practice on the same dates after CCD (7:30 – 8:00).

CHRISTMAS RECONCILIATION: Father Ouseph will be available to hear confessions on Wednesday, December 2nd at 6:30, after the evening Mass, as well as on Monday, December 14th at 6:30. There will be only one priest available.

SHOEBOX CHRISTMAS: Thank you to all the CCD students and teachers who prepared shoeboxes for Samaritan’s Purse. A total of 53 boxes will be delivered to children of various ages (babies – teenagers). The care put into selecting items for each box blesses the recipient with joy, hope, and love. Their shoebox is the first gift many children have ever received! The treasures and personal letters inside communicate that someone cares for them and gives them an opportunity to experience the love of God.

MINISTER SCHEDULES: New schedules for Lectors, Altar Servers, Ushers, and Eucharistic Ministers will be coming out in December.  Lectors need to have received the sacrament of Confirmation. Altar Servers need to have received the sacrament of First Holy Communion. Head Ushers need to be an adult. Training is available for all these roles. If you are new and wish to be added or need to make any changes, including a new contact number, please include it on the information sheet located on the back table.
