 NO MASS: Father Joe will be out of the office from Sunday afternoon until Wednesday afternoon. There will be no evening Mass on Monday, October 10th. Wednesday Mass will be at the regular time of  6:00 p.m.

CHOIR PRACTICE: There will be Choir practice after Mass on Monday, October 10th. Anyone is welcome to attend.

CEMETERY BOARD ELECTIONS: The Fatima Cemetery Board will be holding elections this weekend to fill two positions for a three year term.

GRIEF SUPPORT: A grief support group meeting will be held 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening, October 20th at St. Joseph’s Hall next to St. Mary’s Catholic Church.  This is a support group for those in the community who want to gain a better understanding of all the changes experienced in the grief process. This month the meeting will be led by Deacon Ronnie Sykora, Deacon of St. Mary’s Catholic Church of the Assumption in West.

RCIA: Class will take place on Sunday evening, October 9th, in the first classroom on the right, in the parish hall, from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.  The topics include: The topics include: What is the Bible? God is the Author of Scripture, The Bible Tells One Story of Salvation, the Canon of Scripture and Its Development, Interpreting the Bible. All people are invited to learn more about the Catholic faith.

ADULT FORMATION: Come join the Adult Formation class on Wednesday from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall. The topics include: Jesus is Fully Divine and Fully Reveals God, The Miracles of Jesus, Jesus is Fully Human, Jesus Heals and Restores Our Human Nature. All are invited to come to any or all of the sessions.

PANCAKE BREAKFAST: There will be a Pancake Breakfast Sunday, October 9th after Mass in the Parish Hall.   Free will donations will go to Care Net Pregnancy Center.  All are invited to enjoy breakfast and support a worthy cause.

ALTAR SERVER TRAINING: Father Joe will be conducting a training session for all current Altar Servers, as well as anyone who wishes to become an altar server on Sunday, October 9th from 2:00 – 3:30 p.m.

Riding Lawnmower — $500.00; Gas range— $50; Set of speakers:  two wooden cases each containing a 16” and a 12” speaker —$50/set OBO. If you are interested in any of these items, please contact the rectory.

ESSAY CONTEST: The 2016 MARYKNOLL Magazine Student Essay Contest is open to students in grades 6-8 and 9-12. This year’s topic is “Caring for Our Common Home.” The winning essayists share scholarship money as well as national recognition in MARYKNOLL magazine and on its website. Flyers with more information are located on the back table.

ROSARY: Please join us in saying the rosary before Saturday Mass at 5:35 p.m. and Sunday Mass beginning at 7:35 a.m.

CATHOLIC DAUGHTERS: Court Sacred Heart #829 of West is having a membership drive. All Catholic women 18 years and older are invited to join the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. For more information, please pick up a flyer from the back table.
