SPECIAL COLLECTION: Next weekend, April 25th & 26th, we will have a second collection for the Seminarian Formation Fund. Now more than ever, we have a serious need to prepare men to serve the Diocese of Fort Worth as priests. Their education and formation is very expensive and costs continue to rise. Please give generously.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION: Several of our second graders will receive Holy Communion for the first time next Sunday, April 26th.

PASTORAL COUNCIL NOMINATIONS: This is the last weekend to nominate individuals as a candidate to fill one of three positions on the Pastoral Council. Prayerfully consider who would lead our parish at this time and then write the name or names (there is no limit) on a slip of paper and place in the collection basket at any time, by Sunday, April 19th. Members of the Finance Council are unable to serve, so don’t nominate Charles Beseda, Gordon Grubbs, Annette Ballew, or Lucy Pustejovsky. Three members who finished their terms are not eligible to serve for one year: Katie Kaska, Cheryl Schulz, and Frank Urbanovsky. And please do not nominate any current members: Joyce Lenart, Johnny Krenek, Mike Bezdek, Karen Marak, Gary Pustejovsky, or David Timmons.

MOTHER’S DAY FLOWERS: Donations are now being accepted for Mother’s Day flowers. To honor or remember a special lady in your life, put your intentions, along with your donation in an envelope marked “Mother’s Day Flowers” and drop in the collection basket by April 26th.

BBQ DINNER/RAFFLE: Our annual BBQ dinner is quickly approaching. The dinner and raffle will be held on Sunday, May 24th. We would like to start collecting raffle items or cash for purchasing of an item. To donate, please contact Karen Marak at 582-2476 or Agnes Timmons at 254-580-8125. So that tickets can be printed, please contact by May 3rd. All donations will be greatly appreciated.

KJZT JUNIORS: The KJZT Juniors will meet Sunday, April 19 in the Smid Center at around 9:20 am (after the baked goods and raffle ticket sale). Juniors need to wear a camp t-shirt (any color) and jeans.

The drawing will be held during camp and top prize is a $500 Visa gift card. Contact a junior member anytime between now and the end of June to purchase raffle tickets. The juniors appreciate your generous support!
