My Dear Friends and Parish Family in Christ,
I wish you all a Blessed Easter.
May the Glory of Jesus’ Resurrection
Enrich your life with Love, Joy and Peace.
Be assured that you and all those you love
will be remembered in the
Holy Sacrifice of the Mass on Easter and always.
Father Ouseph
THANK YOU: Our thanks and appreciation to all those individuals who helped make our Holy Week and Easter Masses so meaningful: to our musicians and choir, lectors, altar servers, ushers, and Eucharistic Ministers, to our sacristans, to those parishioners who purchased lilies in honor and in memory of their loved ones. Please see the flyer for a complete listing of flower donations.
THANK YOU: Many thanks for your generous donations to the special collection taken up on Good Friday which supported the Holy Land.
RICE BOWL: Rice Bowls can be placed in the collection basket on the weekend after Easter, April 11th & 12th.
SYMPATHY: Please remember in your prayers the soul and family of James Nors who went to his eternal rest. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen
SENIOR SOCIAL: The next Senior Social will be held on Friday, April 10th at 6:00 p.m. in the parish hall. BBQ sandwiches and drinks will be provided. Please bring a side dish to share. All seniors are invited to enjoy an evening out with friends.
PASTORAL COUNCIL NOMINATIONS: Parishioners will have the opportunity over the next two weekends to nominate individuals or themselves as a candidate to fill one of three positions on the Pastoral Council. Prayerfully consider who would lead our parish at this time and then write the name or names (there is no limit) on a slip of paper and place in the collection basket by Sunday, April 19th . Members of the Finance Council are unable to serve on both councils, therefore do not nominate Charles Beseda, Gordon Grubbs, Annette Ballew, or Lucy Pustejovsky. There are three members who have finished their terms on the Pastoral Council that are not eligible to serve for one year. They include Katie Kaska, Cheryl Schulz, and Frank Urbanovsky. Finally, please do not nominate any current members of the Pastoral Council members: Katie Kaska, Joyce Lenart, Cheryl Schulz, Johnny Krenek, Mike Bezdek, and Frank Urbanovsky, Karen Marak, Gary Pustejovsky, and David Timmons.
