THANK YOU: Many, many thanks to all those individuals who helped in any way with the Spaghetti Dinner and Raffle last Sunday. Because of your dedication and service to our parish, it was a tremendous success. Volunteers included those who cooked and served the meal, collected prizes and ran the raffle, our KJZT Jrs. who kept the tea glasses full, all the individuals who provided the wonderful desserts and last but not least, all those who came out and supported the fundraiser by purchasing the meal and raffle tickets. Congratulations to the winners of the raffle prizes: Garden Cart – Madison Murphy; Necklace/Earring Set – Bob Pustejovsky; HEB Card – Delores Landrum; Walmart Card – Traci Pustejovsky; Walmart Card – Kat Pustejovsky; and Door Wreath – Rosilee Bartosh.

PARISH FAMILY FUN DAY: Next Sunday is our Parish Family Fun Day. The event starts at 2:00 p.m. There will be water slides, a box maze, and games for the kids and homemade ice cream, visiting, and games in the cool air-conditioned hall for the adults. There will be a hot dog supper served at 6:00 p.m. Anyone wishing to bring a freezer of ice cream, a dessert, or any games are welcomed to do so. Come out and enjoy the day.

BAKE SALE THANK YOU: Abbott KJZT #104 extends a big “Thank You” to everyone who helped make their Bake Sale to benefit the Abbott Community Improvement Organization a great success. Sales were $434.00 and the state will match 50% ($217.00), thus permitting the ACIO to receive $651.00 for their projects for the community. Again, thank you for your support!!!!

CCD TEACHER MEETING: We will have a CCD Teacher meeting on Wednesday, August 27th at 6:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall.

CCD: The first class for CCD will be on Wednesday, September 3rd. Class will be from 6:30 – 7:30. Parents are reminded to not bring students before 6:20 p.m. as there will not be anyone available to watch them.

CHOIR PRACTICE: There will be Choir practice on Monday, August 25th at 6:30 p.m.
