APPRECIATION MEAL:  Just a reminder to those parishioners who will be attending the Appreciation Meal today. We will gather at 5:00 p.m. and eat dinner at 5:30 p.m.

KJZT JUNIORS: The next meeting of the KJZT Juniors will be Sunday, February 21 immediately following Mass.  Juniors will meet in the Smid Center and need to wear a camp t-shirt.

RICE BOWL: This week, CRS Rice Bowl takes us to Laos, where Hongkham is using her love of  cooking to provide for her family – and feed an entire school.  How do we use our passions and gifts for the betterment of those we meet?

STATIONS OF THE CROSS: Our parish will have Stations of the Cross at 6:30 p.m., on Fridays during Lent. In the past, they have been led by parish organizations or CCD classes. If any group wishes to lead the stations on one of the evenings, please contact Agnes Timmons.  Dates available are: February 26th, and March 18th.

CHOIR PRACTICE: There will be Choir practice after Mass on Monday, February 22nd. Anyone is  welcome to attend. We are always looking for new singers.

WOMEN’S ACTS RETREAT: All ladies are invited to spend a weekend away with the Lord. The Women’s ACTS Retreat hosted by the West ACTS Community will be held April 14-17th. It is a gift that will keep on giving. Applications are located on the back table.

KC FISH FRY: Our Knights of Columbus will be having a Fish Fry on Friday, March 4th, from 5:30  p.m. – 7:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall. The meal will consist of fish, french fries, cole slaw, beans, and tea.  Cost of the meal is $8.00 for adult and plates to go and $5.00 for children 12 and under.  All are invited and encouraged to come out and enjoy a delicious meal.

FRIED CHICKEN DINNER: The Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Penelope is having their annual chicken dinner with all the trimmings on Sunday, February 28th. Serving begins at 11:30 a.m. Adult and plates to go are $9.50 and children plates are $5.00. All are invited.

 THEATRICAL PERFORMANCE: Therese: The Story of a Soul, the moving, live production performed by actress Audrey Ahern and directed by Patti Delfilippis of Saint Luke Productions, will be presented at Our Lady Queen of Peace Family Life Center in Wichita Falls on Tuesday, March 8 at 7:00 p.m., at St. Francis of Assisi Family Life Center in Grapevine on Thursday, March 10 at 7:00 p.m. and at St. Patrick Cathedral Pastoral Center in Fort Worth on Saturday, March 12 at 7:00 p.m. The events are sponsored by the Diocese of Fort Worth.
