Adult plates and Plates to go are $8.00 and children plates under 12 are $6.00. Please support our last fundraising dinner of the year.
CHOIR PRACTICE: There will be Choir practice after Mass on Wednesday, November 19th.
CHRISTMAS FLOWERS: Parishioners can pre-order poinsettias which will be used to decorate our church for the Christmas season. Orders will be taken through November 23. Envelopes, located at the entrances of the church, can be used to write your intentions and enclosing the payment for the number of plants that you intend to purchase. The cost of each plant is $9.50 and can be paid for with either cash or by check. Please make the check payable to Wolfe Wholesale Florist. Your completed envelope can be placed in the collection basket. Orders are being taken for plants that will be for church use only. No extra plants will be ordered. If you have any questions, please call Agnes Timmons, 580-8125.
DIACONATE FORMATION: The Diocese of Fort Worth will begin a Diaconate Formation Class next year. Any men between the ages of 30-55 who are interested or who have questions need to contact Fr. Ouseph by the end of November.
STUDENT SAFETY: In an effort to keep all our CCD students safe, please do not drop off your child before 6:20 p.m. because there is no one here to watch them, especially with it being cooler and getting dark earlier. Also, when you drive up after CCD, please turn off your lights and step out of your car so that Traci Pustejovsky can see you. This will ensure that the children are being sent to the correct vehicle.
FOOD FOR FAMILIES: The KJZT and KJZT Jr’s are participating in the Fraternal Cause called Feeding Families Across Texas. In addition to the donation being made by our local KJZT and KJZT Jr.s, we are extending the invitation to participate in this cause to our parish families and would appreciate monetary donations. As part of the People Helping People project, the State KJZT Office is offering matching funds up to $200 to each the KJZT and KJZT Jr’s. What a great way to make your donation go farther. If you would like to contribute to this worthy cause, please place your donation in an envelope marked “Food For Families” into the collection basket next week-end (Nov. 15-16th). Please make any checks payable to the Abbott KJZT #104. The total donation will then be sent to the Hillsboro Interfaith Ministries on November 21st. Thanks for your support.
KJZT JUNIORS: The KJZT Juniors will participate in their People Helping People Parish Fund Raiser project as they help host the parish fried fish dinner on November 16. Juniors need to wear their royal blue t-shirts, jeans and comfortable shoes. Juniors working the first shift need to report for assignment of duties at 10:45.
